SO YOU WANT TO BE AN
SAB AMBASSADOR?

Traditionally, the SAB does not hire 1st semester students in an effort to have at least one (1) semester to acclimate to FIT, course workload and attend a program or two to get a feel of how the SAB functions and hosts programming.

The SAB Ambassadors Program allows students who want to be involved (1st semester students and/or students who are interested in joining the FIT Student Activities Board) to volunteer with the SAB and get their feet wet in the SAB experience.

Overseen by our Social Media Manager, the responsibilities of an SAB Ambassador would include attending and marketing all SAB programs and assisting in advertising our programs and initiatives to individual FIT networks. That would include resharing our posts, making announcements. Attendance to at least 2 - 5 SAB meetings a semester would be required.  

Being an SAB Ambassador would provide great exposure to the inner workings of the SAB and understanding how we curate both small and large programs from beginning to end. The SAB Ambassador role is rich in marketing experience and provides great hands on opportunities to work in social media management, marketing, marketing design and FITLink management. 

Additionally,  experience serving as a reliable and efficient SAB Ambassador will provide advantages when applying for a professional position on the SAB if interested.
